130102 Kim Jaejoong OST for Dr. Jin  in Melon Chart Jump List

This is the Melon chart jump list. Chart jump list is based on how fast you climbed on the charts but not necessarily be the no 1 song at the moment (realtime chart). It’s determined by 40% streaming and 60% download.

Kim Jaejoong’s OST for Dr. Jin Drama jumped 563 places to be number 1 around 12 midnight on Jan 2. It’s good news alright, seeing the OST was released last July 13, 2012. It is still the highest no of jumps for the day (as of 8 am KST)

JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong won another Rookie Award, following his win last year.

The singer-turned-actor won his award at the 2012 MBC Drama Awards, held on December 30, for his feats in the drama Dr. Jin.

Despite its being his first period piece, Kim Jae Joong made a perfect transformation to Kim Kyung Tak, delivering his lines with manly talent.

The award follows a Rookie Award he won last year with SBS. He made his first drama debut in Korea in 2011 with the SBS drama Protect the Boss, and managed to win the New Star Award at the SBS 2011 Drama Awards. The award means more to him as his team never performed on TV except through dramas.

Kim Jae Joong said, “I′ve won the Rookie Award. I′m shaking. My parents are here, and I don′t know why they decided to come today. I′ve won an award. I′m so happy that I′ve received the award they say you can only receive once in your life. At first I acted because I thought I had to, but through Dr. Jin, I came to feel that I want to act.”

He then added, “I want to thank [Park] Yoo Chun in front of me, for his support. I also want to thank [Kim] Junsu, who isn′t here right now.”

He later tweeted for his fans, “My second Rookie Award. I′ll take this to mean that I should work harder in the future. I want to thank director Han Hee, director Oh Jong Hyun, C-JeS′ [Baek] Chang Joo hyung (big brother) and my members Yoo Chun and Junsu. Last but not least, the fans who lead JYJ! I′ll repay your thankful love for the rest of my life.”

Lil bit fact actually there are many interesting moment happen during this event which involved the soulmate.

First as we know Jaejoong and Yoochun sit in same table and actually the seating place is like this : Kim Jaejoong, Song Oksuk, Park Yuchun, Yoo Eunhye, Kim Sohyun, Jo Seungwoo but then…..naughty Yoochun, he switched his seat with Song Ok Soon’s because he want seat with jae LOL

Park JiBin gave flowers to JJ and YC. Jibin is a young actor who ever play as a little brother of Jan Di in Boys Before Flowers and he also used to follow JJ on twitter before. He is like a little brother for Jae

JJ and YC are gentlemen. They both stood up and greeted Song sshi when she arrived at their table.

After getting award, off the stage back to his seat, soon JJ shook hands with YC under the table

When Detective Kim Ahjussi won for Missing You, YC and JJ stood up and clapped for him!

JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong and Park Yoo Chun gave and received their awards on the same stage.

The two each won the Rookie Award and the Excellent Mini Series Actor Award at the 2012 MBC Drama Awards held on December 30.

Kim Jae Joong first won the Rookie Award for Dr. Jin, and later on went onstage again to present the Excellent Mini Series Actor Award.

“I want to draw this out. This is a person I really like,” he said, then called out Park Yoo Chun′s name for I Miss You.

Park Yoo Chun said onstage, “So much happened this year, and I′m happy that I can wrap up with such a great award. I′ll work harder. Thank you.”

The Grand Prize went to Jo Seung Woo, who made his drama debut with Horse Doctor.

01 The genuine good looking guy of ancient Korea is me!

The stills of JYJ’s Jaejoong who tried acting in a period drama for the first time has been revealed.

He excels at his first attempt at a period drama, where he played the role of a police officer, Kim KyungTak who is good at martial arts and has a strong desire for victory, but behind those personalities, he holds the pain that no one could understand.

From that layer, he was said to readily bare a passionate acting and the interest of fans from within Korea and internationally heightened. To make sure that he could grasp the way of talking and actions of ancient times, Jaejoong devoted a lot of time practicing enthusiastically, and of course, he had also worked hard learning how to ride a horse.

Excerpt of his statements:

I seem to favor sci-fi/historical dramas such as “Joseon X-Files” (2010) and “Dr. Jin” (2012). That is unusual right there: there are two shows that combine sci-fi and historical drama.

Speaking of time-travel, my favorite Korean TV series is “Dr. Jin.” I do not know whether “Joseon X-Files” has origins in other media, but “Dr. Jin” (aka, “Time Slip Dr. Jin” or “Dak-teo Jin”) is a Korean version of a Japanese television series called simply “Jin,” (2009-2011) and it, in turn, is based on a Japanese graphic novel (manga) of the same title by Murakami Motoka. So this story has been told and elaborated before. Still, the Korean version is the only one with which I am familiar; so I am understandably partial to it.

Which idols are successful in holding two jobs?

(T/N: Two jobs refer to a main job and a side job.)

Idol members have the charisma to hold the audience’s attention on stage and they attract fans with their different and fresh charisma on broadcast.

These idol members are JYJ’s Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun, Kim Jaejoong, After School’s UEE and Miss A’s Suzy.

“Music-dol” Kim Junsu who performed in Mozart and Elizabeth, was chosen as the idol with the strongest ticket power for three years consecutively.

Park Yoochun is a case of an idol who transformed into an actor successfully. He received recognition for his work in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Miss Ripley. Through Rooftop Prince, he was named “acting-dol” for receiving favorable reviews from the viewers and his colleagues.

Kim Jaejoong’s ability to express emotions through his eyes in the recent drama, Dr Jin also received praise from distinguished senior actors.

I am happy…….another praised from the senior for Jae ^^

Attitude and behaviors matter a lot. If one is extremely talented but also so full of himself, nobody will want to even be near him. I always really glad that jae and his brothers has great personalities and work ethics. That’s why many people get drawn to them.

Actor Lee Bumsoo talked about his appreciation toward Song Seunghun and Kim Jaejoong.

Lee Bumsoo said, I think Kim Jaejoong can become a good actor. He told Kim Jaejoong who was having hard time because of people’s negative eyes, “No matter what origin, when you come to the world of acting, the attitude of learning matters.

Lee Bumsoo added, “Acting arrogant or being overly talkative is not good. I think that being criticized because of the attitude and being criticized because of the idol origin are different. In that sense, Kim Jaejoong was very humble and sincere. He’s a nice person.

Lee Bumsoo also talked about the tough condition they had to suffer during filming. “I want to give some applause to Seunghun and Jaejoong who have worked without complaining even once.
